The “Super Congress” is a really dangerous group of 12 members of Congress
that was established as part of the debt deal and could slash more than
$1.5 trillion from critical government programs, including Social
Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Our best hope of making sure that doesn’t happen is to get Senate Majority
Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi appoint six
Democrats who will stand strong against Republican hostage-taking.
I just signed a petition urging them to only appoint Democrats who agree
that the poor and middle class have already sacrificed too much and that

Reporters at Rupert Murdoch-owned newspapers regularly hacked the
phones of politicians, celebrities, and even hacked the phone of a
13-year-old murder victim. Now it appears they may have hacked the phones
of 9/11 victims. I just signed a petition to make sure Congress finds out

News reports say Obama put Social Security cuts on the table for a
