Google Community Managers on Google+

Here is a list of Google Community Managers on Google+ by community:

Good bye BillDrew.pbWiki.com

I just deleted my pbWiki site.  I have found bringing stuff together in Bill The Librarian has worked quite well. I brought together my “static” website and my blog to one location.  The result is one cohesive view of what I write and what I do on the web.  PBwiki is not appropriate for a website for just one person. It is a great tool for a community effort or collaborative website.  Next I must decide if I should delete my old blog at http://babyboomerlibrarian.blogspot.com.  It currently redirects here to the appropriate post.  I still see redirects in the statistics.  Any thoughts from my readers?

Blogging with Posterous

I am finding blogging with Posterous is very easy to do.  I am able to use Outlook email to create my posts without any problems.  The autoposting features to Blogger, Facebook, and Twitter work quite well.  I do see some things that need improvement or fine tuning.

Autoposting to Facebook does not send the entire post.  It sends the title and a shortened URL.  It looks just like the Twitter post.  I would like to have the option to send the entire post and to post it to the My Notes page.  It is supposed to display in a Posterous tab but I am unable to get that to work.  I have decided to use the blog import feature of Facebook Notes page and import it in.

I now have three places people can comment on my posts.  Does anyone have any ideas on how the comments can be brought together automatically within Posterous?  Displaying with the correct posts?

Ported over to Posterous

I am contemplating doing all of my posting via posterous.  I have imported BabyBoomerLibrarian.blogspot.com into posterous at http://babyboomerlibrarian.posterous.com.   I have set it to post into the blogger account.  This is an experiment to try to better integrate my posts into my other social networking stuff.  Posterous seems to have a tighter integration with these services than does Blogger.  I am not closing down my blogger account.

ScribeFire now has Chrome Extension.

I think Ihave finally found a reason to give up using FireFox and Internet Explorer.  Google Chrome now has a new extension for ScribeFire .  ScribeFire is my favorite thing to use for writing my blog posts.  I am writing this post using the new extension in Chrome.  It is easy to use and to set up.
